Quadron – ‘Better Off’ (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)

Kendrick Lamar continues to branch out of Rap. Today, he lands a feature on duo Quadron’s latest single ‘Better Off’ which is from their upcoming album Avalanche, due on June 4th via Culture/Epic Records. Quadron is a Danish duo made of Robin Hannibal and Coco O who primarily record Electronic Soul music. Here’s what they said about the collaboration:

We only have one feature on our new album, and we are elated that it’s Kendrick Lamar. He invited us to collaborate on his own album, and we had such a great time working with him that we asked him if he wanted to be part of our project as well. We are so happy for all his success and we are very proud of this song. We wanted to have more of a fluid song that wasn’t too over structured and had a bit of a bedroom/after hours vibe to it.

French Montana ‘Excuse My French’ First Week Sales Projections

French Montana’s long awaited debut album Excuse My French is finally available for purchase. The Bad Boy/MMG/Interscope disc features some high profile guests such as Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Diddy, The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Ne-Yo and more. Back in March, French said that he was expecting his album do to 200k in the first week but he will be a little disappointed to know that according to projections, the album will sell a modest 45-50k copies.

The number means it will be fighting for a top 5 debut on Billboard next week with the leader being Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories which is on course to move 300-325k, according to HDD.

Paris Hilton Signs To Cash Money

Looks like Paris Hilton has been embraced by the Cash Money squad, so much so that they have officially signed her to a deal for her second album. She revealed the news to Showbiz411:

But the big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by CashMoney Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer.

Paris was recently seen making a cameo in Rich Gang’s ‘Tapout’ video, much to everybody’s surprise.
