Last night, Shyne decided to share his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar and his new album in 140 characters or less. While his thoughts on the former were that he’s talented with a lot of potential, the latter wasn’t so kind. To quote him, “his album is traaaaash!” He immediately caught flack from his followers, fellow celebs (like Slim Thug) and other people who saw him retweeted into their timelines, and of course, Kendrick’s fellow TDE member ScHoolboy Q. Not wanting someone to trump his homie’s big day with unmerited trash talk, Q took to his Twitter to come right back at Shyne, and an exchange of words ensued. When asked by a fan afterward why he even bothered with Shyne, he replied, “Because it needed to be said.”
